General Knowledge and Current Affairs – 20 – 10

Perspectives in Education – 20 – 10

Language – I (Indian Languages) – 18 – 9

Language – II (English) – 18 – 9

Mathematics – 18 – 9

Science – 18 – 9

Social Studies – 18 – 9

Teaching Methodology (Strategy Papers) – 30 – 15

There will be 160 questions for DSC SGT written test for maximum 80 marks. Examination duration will be for the 2 hours and 30 minutes for DSC 2012 exam of SGT.

Age Limit for apdsc2012

dsc2012 age limitAge of applicants must be minimum 18 years and maximum 39 years as on 1st July, 2012 to apply for apdsc.cgg.gov.in Teacher recruitment 2012. SC/ST/BC candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit. PWD candidates will get relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit.

Post-wise Qualifications for DSC 2012:

Applicants must have degree of bachelor with Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics in main subject or three equal optional subjects and a B. Ed. degree with Math as a methodology subject to apply for apdsc.cgg.gov.in recruitment 2012.

School Assistant (Physical Sciences):

Candidates should have bachelor degree with at least 2 subjects as optional subjects – Physics/Applied Physics/Engineering Physics and Instrumentation/Electronics/Computer Science and Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Medical Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Geology or either Physics/its allied subjects or Chemistry/its allied subjects as one of the main subject and other as subsidiary/ancillary subject and B. Ed. degree with Physical Science/Physics/Chemistry/Science as methodology subject to apply for DSC recruitment 2012.

School Assistant (Biological Science):

Applicants must have a degree of Bachelor with Botany and Zoology as optional subjects or one of the 2 as main and other as subsidiary subject or any 2 of other allied subjects and a B. Ed. degree with Biological Science/Natural Sciences/Science/Botany/Zoology as a methodology subject to apply for apdsc.cgg.gov.in 2012 recruitment.

School Assistant (Social Studies):

Candidates must have a bachelor degree with any 2 social studies subjects or B. Com with any four Commerce subjects and B. Ed. degree with Social Studies/Social Sciences/Geography/History/Political Science/Economics as a methodology subject to apply for DSC 2012 recruitment.

School Assistant (English):

Eligible candidates should have a bachelor degree with English as the main subject or one of the optional subjects or a Post Graduate Degree in English and a B. Ed. degree with English as methodology subject to apply for AP DSC 2012.

School Assistant (Telugu), School Assistant (Hindi), School Assistant (Urdu), School Assistant (Kannada), School Assistant (Tamil), School Assistant (Oriya), School Assistant (Marathi), School Assistant (Sanskrit), School Assistant (Physical Education) and training qualification details are notified through DSC 2012 information bulletin for academic qualification.

Academic details of Secondary Gradate Teacher for Language Pundit (Telugu), Language Pandit (Hindi), Language Pandit (Urdu), Language Pandit (Kannada), Language Pandit (Oriya), Language Pandit (Marathi), Language Pandit (Gujarathi), Language Pandit (Tamil), Language Pandit (Bengali), Language Pandit (Sanskrit) and Physical Education Teacher are also notified through DSC information bulletin 2012.

AP DSC 2012 Eligibility Criteria:

apdsc2012 eligibility criteriaApplicants must have APTET (Paper-I) Pass Certificate/ Memorandum of marks in respect of SGT to apply for apdsc.cgg.gov.in recruitment. They should have APTET (Paper–II with any optional subject) Pass Certificate/ Memorandum of marks in respect of School Assistant and Language Pandit to apply for DSC 2012 along with 60% and above score for General, 50% and above for B. C. and 40% and above for SC/ST candidates to apply online for DSC recruitment.
